Buck Paradise Staff
Grant and Lana
Owner/Operator
Buck Paradise started in 1997 and it grew fast and furious. When you love what you do it isn't work. When not outfitting Grant grain farms over 3000 acres with Ian and Garet. Lana works full time for Cenovus Energy. We both love people and are thankful for this business and grateful for the people we have met who are now dear friends. We are also blessed to have the best staff we could ask for that we consider our family. Enjoy the rest of the staff gallery. Without these wonderful people we would not be able to make Buck Paradise the success that it is!
Jared and Annie
Waterfowl & Whitetail Guide
Jared is our guide for Whitetail, Waterfowl and Bear. He is avid hunter and excellent caller. Our hunters are very impressed with his knowledge on birds. He trained his dog Annie, and if you are here for waterfowl you will see how talented she is. He really helps out in every area of Buck Paradise Outfitters. When not hunting, Jared is superior welder and very good host to our hunters.
Ian Kuypers
White Tail & Bear Guide
Ian Kuypers has been retrieving geese for hunters since he was 4 years old. Ian started guiding bear hunters at 16 years of age. He is now a full time Whitetail Deer and Bear guide at Buck Paradise. Very Mechanically inclined and hunters enjoy there time with Ian. He is "Sweet".
Garet Kuypers
White Tail Guide
Garet started guiding Whitetail deer in 2015 and he has proved to be an excellent hard working guide. Garet has a passion for farming as well. He has graduated from Vermilion College with a degree in Crop Science Technology. Garet helps out on the farm each year, and is planning on buying or renting some land for his own soon.
Bronken Brothers
Guides Helpers
Jullian, Jace, Jory and Jax have been helping Jared and Blaine with waterfowl set up this year and learning how to scout for birds. It is such a pleasure to have these eager young men on our team.
Sharon and Noella
Hostesses with the Mostess
Sharon and Noella are the hostesses and take very good care of our hunters. Making sure everything is clean and tidy as well as where to find a cold beer. They are not scared of hard work and long hours. They are a pleasure to work with and is pretty easy to convince it is time for happy hour. These ladies are Mother Hens to all our guests and guides and can pretty much help out anywhere necessary. Cheers to these beauties!
Raymond
Chef
Raymond Duddy comes from Ceylon, Saskatchewan with 25 years of cooking experience. He also has 10 years at a high end fishing lodge in Northern Saskatchewan. He specializes in homemade baking and home cooked meals. Food is the heart of the home and Ray makes sure there is always of plenty of food. There isn't much better than the smell of homeade bread or cinnamon buns and always plenty of bacon and fresh ground coffee in the AM. The evening there is typically some Grade AAA beef grillin on the Traegar. Scrumptious! If you have been here, you know what we are talking about. We are grateful to have Ray as part of our Buck Paradise family.
Blaine
Guide
Blaine is Whitetail and Waterfowl guiding this year. Besides being an avid fisherman and hunter, Blaine is an excellent carpenter and pretty much a jack of all trades. He is a huge asset to our BP Family and we know you will love getting to know him better this Fall. When he isn't working hard, he golfs, plays ball and loves to have a cold beer at the end of the day. Our kind of guy!
